I personally do not believe in homeopathy
        here’s a good article:
The Lancet – “Benefits and risks of homoeopathy” – Bad Science

        I do believe in placebo
My Placebo programme on BBC Radio 4 – Bad Science

I do believe in ‘old wives’ tales / herbal remedies – I.e when I used to have really bad blepharitis (eye inflammation particularly bad as a child) my mum would bathe my eyes in cold tea – there is summat in it that would reduce the inflammation, when I used to get sty’s my mum would rub her gold wedding ring on it – I dont know all the medical rationales for this but I know from years of personal experience they work – and other such remedies
