Just in case someone else is thinking of checking out 54… it is no more.
Night buses don’t go anywhere near where I live so it still requires a taxi ride from Walthamstow to get home. I’d rather find somewhere to chill for a couple of hours
Thanks, i’ll check out 54
Cant rememebr who organised it, in fact i dont think i ever knew as i was quite young and very wet behind the ears but, it was up on the Ridgeway summer 1994
Save up your pennies and buy your music on plastic. Its better quality, more satisfying, will help pay the poor old musicians and you wont get problems like this 😉
I think you need a time machine if you really want to see why free parties are better. They don’t have the really big ones like they used in the nineties anymore. They were more like festivals than actual parties.
I’m originally from Oxfordshire, and Oxford always was really shit for clubbing so the free party scene was massive. You could go with all your mates and you got to know people from all over south England that used to come for the parties. The atmosphere was wicked, you could get as twatted as you liked, and the worst thing that could happen to you was that youd fall on a cow pat. The convoys were also mental as well.
Places like Scothmans Knob (i shit you not) and Christmas Common were legendary as well as crews like BDI and Exodus.
Not strictly metal but a gruesome tune anyway. Enjoy raaa
Yeah it does very much depend on the employer, but i believe that the vast majority wouldnt give a second thought to over looking someone with a record for someone without. It also depends how much your heart is set on the job and what hoops youre prepared to jump through to get it.
Personally i would avoid applying or the job but then i have no desire to work with children or for MI6 so its an easy question for me.

Well done mate. 3+ years ago was a bit of a pie take for holding that against ya. Despite a CRB check, work should just keep your social life out of your work life. I always say if your performing fine at work and arn’t causing trouble or anything and your not doing anything you should at work, then they have no business whats happened outside.
Anyway, good times poly. :bounce_fl
Criminla records are for life and will be held against you for the rest of your life. Sad but true im afraid. i think the lesson here is to avoid applying for jobs that require a crb check, youre never going to get the job over someone with a clean record.
Glad it all turned up good though.
I think your major problem these days is finding somewhere to park up. Councils long ago stopped being abliged to provide travellers with somewhere to stay. It’s true, as you say, that most pikey criminals live in houses, but that’s mainly because they’ve been forced to stop living as travellers.
My personal advise is, if you dont want to piss the local population off, dont leave loads of shit behind when you move on. It seriously rubs people up the wrong way and neither you nor any other traveller will be welcomed back.
Godd luck to you though, you have the right trade for travelling.
The pirate bay and Bitcomet are all you need for free music
A good night i take it? Still going? :bounce_fl
I’d go for Annie anytime :bounce_fl

Parcelforce have a problem with MC-505’s
WTF is an MC-505?… excuse my ignorance but why do parcelforce have a problem with them?
DHL are a nightmare as well. I once posted a parcel with them, only for them to deliver it back to my house. they did this three times, and every time i phoned them to ask what was going on, they insisted that the parcel had been delievered to the correct address, despite it being sat on my desk in front of me whilst i was talking to them. Talk about banging your head against a brick wall
TBH I dont know what everyones problem is with Royal Mail. I’ve lived in varoius parts of the country, and i order shit loads of records by post, and ive never had one go missing. True, the service is not what it used to be, but i still find it very reliable.
Tonights episode, funny as fuck… love it!
Give our boys some credit, they did deliver it to you 😉
Looking forward to it, loved the last series :bounce_fl
Thanks cheeseweasel, that sounds like the plan to go for.

Shame as I was looking forward to watching this …. oh well I’ll give it ago anyways just to at least have my own opinion on it .. even if i agree that it’s shit. >.<
You may still like it, i went on the recommendation of someone that did, so it may just be a matter of taste.
A sepreate amp shouldnt be necssary as i think the one in the head unit is more than enough for a car of this size. I used to have all of this kit in a Cavalier, but that already had rear speakers wired in so was simple to fit. I didnt use a seperate amp then and it also had a cavernous boot so sounded wicked.
If i cant run new lines into the head unit i may just get rid of the front speakers and wire those directly to the back. I’m not trying to create anything special here, I’ve just got some spare kit and want to use it.
The original is a classic because the effects were ground breaking. The storyline though is confusing, dull and totally unbelievable. It also went on for far too long.
