What a load of shite! Spent £36 on two back row IMAX tickets and I wish I’d never bothered.

Almost as bad as the original for those that can remember it :crazy_diz

I heard the same, but the original was really quite spectacular i thought, was made in about ’84 right? the ‘special effects’ were really at the hight of tech back then. The first film good, but I can help but think the sequel is lack lustre…..I haven’t seen the sequel, so I can only judge on here say and reviews

original is a classic – new one is absolute pile of wank!

I just about remember seeing it on the cinema…I was 8! The effects back then were unreal, in fact even to this day I reckon they’re pretty good. I had one of a handheld Tron computer game in the 80s – you’d hold it up to your eyes like binoculars and shoot stuff – hours of fun!

that sounds like one epic handheld for when your a little bit trippin!

yeah, i still think the effects are really good, it was a W. Disney and Buena Vista film, so the budget was quite high for them.

The original is a classic because the effects were ground breaking. The storyline though is confusing, dull and totally unbelievable. It also went on for far too long.

You may still like it, i went on the recommendation of someone that did, so it may just be a matter of taste.

I thought it was really good.

Well, the story was slightly above average for Hollywood cheese, and the effects were amazing.

Worth watching in 3D, however It’s not the best film to see in 3D…

I’m a sci-fi nerd which probably bumped it up a bit for me.

I remember just watching the trailer shown on kids TV in the 1980s, and thought the graphics were cool but never had the attention span to want to watch the entire movie. I did wonder “when will we be able to have graphics like that on our home computers?” – which of course took about 20 more years…
