I did do some research before posting this thread. It seems to me that it is very hard to find out exactly what happened. I have therefore got a friend who is a journalist and who can speak spanish to research this more.
I feel that asking you to sign a petition was not stupid as if it is true that he intends to starve another dog to death at least it gives that dog a voice and shows public opinion.
As I work in radio with the help of my friend we will try to set up a telephone interview with the artist to find out what really happened and what is planned for the next exhibition if I do manage this I will post what I learned
I realise though that we may never find out what really happened. Some of the sites say that the artist has changed his story repetedly each time trying to make himself sound more humane as the story evolves.
I understand the point that millions of animals die every year through starvation and neglect I also know that millions of people witness this every day and do nothing. I however can not watch an animal suffering and have many a time spent hours trying to encourage a stray cat to trust me so I could catch it so it could get medical attention. Putting a sick dog through an exhibition even if it is only for a few hours, where it is chained up and dog food is on the wall above it and it is obviously emaciated is cruel.
As some sites have claimed the animal when caught was lightly to die as it was too ill to have lived. The kindest thing would have been to put it to sleep humanly and displayed the corpse which would have got the same message accross with out sufferingI did do some research before posting this thread. Im going to sound old here but when I was younger and out clubbing/partying every weekend my mates always watched out for me as I did for them. It is really sad that alot of people seem to have forgotten or just can’t be fucked to do this anymore.
I am sorry mate but I could never leave someone on the pavement I would have taken him home to pass out or back to the party if it was inappropriate to take him home Im not trying to make you feel worse but I don’t agree with what you did. Its the middle of winter and near freezing temperatures could have meant a much worse out come, be glad that he is still alive and wasn’t atacked

Hi I know the problem. I just gave up my council house even though it was the first step to me getting on the property ladder due to kids not giving a shit about the area they live in.
When the local paper came round to take photos they couldn’t believe the state of the place
I did do a bit of research though and found out that (in Scotland and probably england but don’t know English law). the landlord to a property it legally responsible for the conduct of his or her tenants, therefore if his tenants are being antisocial then he is required to do something about it. Unfortunately it means being at risk of being marked as a gras for complaining.
