used to sing so happily, so joyfully, watching me.
‘Wonderful days’ I think…. hold on.

But I agree- it’s more to show the joys of cycling, and that there is an alternative way (which, in Brighton, is often a lot easier and quicker than cars.)
“look officer, we’re just enjoying a ride around the city- look how clear the roads are ahead!”
And why do cars have to be petrol driven anyway. There are some slternative types out there, which, if used more often, would encourage research into alternative methods of powering cars.
I’ve got a site that I can use, but if this is secure, it’d be much better.
Basically I need to make sure that it can’t be copied by anyone.
I set off- within a minute I couldn’t see through the sleet.
Next month for sure!
See you there mate.
Great fun. Clog up the city for a few hours. OB were well nice last time, stopping cars for us!
I’d heartly recommend it!
on till 5am as well
silly question.
The Volks- Dom & Roland, ed solo, + wrong music downstairs.
Basically as dark and dirty as it gets!
Wicked.

Wicked night!
Just go to the Volks. Always a good bet. Better still, tell us what days, and we can find out!
Was a good night- although didn’t get the required 120 people (about 90) so had to pay £50 for the night. Made £20 for charity though!
Bust the box is on sat night- till 6am! I’m doing the 12-6 shift, but it’s cool cause I’m skint, but still get to hear the music I like. Plus by 5am, everybody is so done in, it’s like working the bar at a free party!

Well……
First I have to write a 2000 word essay before tonight. It’s my mates birthday- so we are going to a casino in town, mass drunkeness, etc. Then I am going to the Campaign against Climate Change March in London at 9am on sat- should be good fun (although aparantly its gonna piss down!)
I get back from london (hopefully) about 9-10ish, then have to work at the Volks from midnight till about 8ish (new license laws!)- but it’s gonna be a crazy tekno night, so not all bad. When we finish work, we are all going to the ‘Sunday Suicide’ at the Ocean rooms. This starts at 4am, and goes on till midday- hosted by the FUN LOVING CRIMINALS (sweet!)- get well mashed and have breakfast. Then drinking all sun, catch some kip, then back to work from 10 till 4 ish sun night. Then on Mon I have to (write and) give a presentation on Alaskan ice sheets for uni, then playing Old skool (and probably some hardcore breakz) at Ali Cats before going to my mates psy-trance night at the Pressure Point. Tues I have a Env society xmas meal at 5pm, before going to the Volks to host ENVIROSTOMP- our end-of-term mash up. Wed night is a xmas meal with the guys at work, which will turn into an extended drinking session, because, lets face it- we’re all fuckheads! Thurs night i’m going to a Christian Ball to make a fool of myself in front of sober, clean living christians (gotta love em..) and then Fri night I’m going to see Ben Elton at the Dome, before a mates birthday house party and then on to another mates birthday squat party.Sat night I think i’ll take it easy…………………..
But USE- there’s big things planned for new year!
BioTech wrote:I hate to say it but I will probably be at a garage event. Trust me, it’s not where I’d choose to spend my NYE but we really need the spondoolies for the soundsystem…. besides, we’ll just make up for it with a house party when we get back.Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh thank you. That made my day! PMSL!!!
Check out Magpie- they do wood recycling projects, but i’m sure they’d have a lot of wood that is unusable.
Ha Ha! Someonr tried to start a fight in the Cobblers thumb last night- the whole pub threw him out!
Kezza- There’s DnB/Jungle/oldskool in the druids on sat, from the cutloose boys, then they moving on to the Pressure point.
The Volks is ‘Skool of thought’ (I think!)- hip-hop/ breakz. Unfortunately, I am working on New Year, but as I work in the Volks, that’s not too bad! Definitely gonna head to a party after though…..
BioTech wrote:It’s sitting there nicely on the border of quality and taste vs cheese. Just like that kind of hardcore should be. Feel like i’m in 94 again but with new tunes that I haven’t heard before.Thats the point. Should point out that its not by me, but one of the guys off backtotheoldskool. I reckon it’s wicked- got the original vibe. (if a little slow for my tastes)
There’s quite a bit of interest in it atm, it’s a very small scene, mainly bedroom producers, but there’s just been a deal with Basement Phil at Nu Urban to produce 10 4 track EP’s. Plus there’s talk of Phil himself getting back into the studio!
And so we turn full cycle- back to our roots.
I’d advise doing some proper research. There’s loads of organisations out there. I jumped on the first one I came across, and it cost me £900 for 2 weeks, plus flights! I’ve been waiting 2 years for it cause i’m too poor to pay off the total.
There’s much cheaper/ longer options around- GAP projects are very good as well.
Have fun!
Slightly. We have mobile phones now!
There’s going to be some beaut parties over the next few months! Keep your ear to the ground!
Names to look out for- Havok throwing regular DnB, and now we have Av*iT back in town woth some sweet acid tekno (Finally!)
All private parties of course!
Paul- will send you some info if you like………….
mr raz wrote:Please be reminded that ‘vinyl’ is very hard to find. So as i see above… CDs are definatley more accessable so if you want to compete in this scene.. You have to understand CD is the only way to collect fresh and cutting edge tunes.. Mainly because the market isnt big enough for vinyl..
:you_smart :sick:Vinyl rarely makes any money anyway……..
Nah! Ocean rooms is bollox! Had some great nights there, but its gone really awful. The decor is dire, the drinks/entry are way too expensive, and (I’m sorry use, but) the system is shite! F1 turbo it may be, but its all treble. Fucking crap if you ask moi!
Used to have a wicked quote above the door, but its been changed.
