Finishing tomorrow people- job lots of jungle going cheap!August 23, 2009 at 11:14 pm #1204900
Yeah McMash Clan are great. Also- hunt down Luna C supersets (Luna C FM is great) and ‘Don Von Drop It’ if you can.
There’s a few sets I’ve done which go through a range of styles- I get bored of one quite easily. Try the new years mix on here, or my Techno (ish) mix if you can find it (badly mixed though!).May 8, 2009 at 9:56 am #1198575BioTech;325386 wrote:Very close but no cigar. I find that the cravings only last a few minutes- go and do an activity such as exercise or having a cup of Green tea and see how that works. Get through the first week and that’s the worst (I’m on 9 days and counting!)May 4, 2009 at 12:29 pm #1198124
Nah. Gas isn’t exactly militant pounding free-party Techno!!May 4, 2009 at 10:02 am #1198123
EZ Rory- I’m going to see The Specials in Brixton Friday night, but if I get back to Reading in time I may pop in- what time you playing?May 1, 2009 at 11:43 pm #1198234
Ying and the yang of the net rave scene innit. I used to go through phases of each- although tbh SJ is pretty shite nowadays.
Was proper funny at points though.May 1, 2009 at 8:34 pm #1195963

Is there a throwing up smilie anywhere? I’m sure there is on SJ…..April 5, 2009 at 7:23 pm #1195962General Lighting;317222 wrote:well if you ask that question on a rave forum and quote two years where the “summer of love” was pretty much just that its what people are going to assume…
Point made. I forget this is still a party forum sometimes!!!April 4, 2009 at 1:11 am #1196013
Well the Climate Camp was fooking great! Like a cross between a festival, an environmental conference and a party (complete with ejection by riot police at 1am!!)
Brilliant.March 31, 2009 at 10:26 pm #1195961
Why does it have to be a drug soaked party type summer of love? MAybe this is the point when the whole of society tips away from an obsession with money and towards a new standard of happiness?
It’s already starting IMO. Less money to spend- people start to appreciate things more……March 30, 2009 at 9:44 pm #1195804

Good times. Sat evening in the pub, then off to a BioTech or Bangaz N Gash- then when these wound down off to spend the day at Skan.
Never gonna be like that again mate.

I have a mate who reckons there is only one psytrance record and all the DJ’s take it in turns to play it :weee:
Ha ha! That’s what a mate I worked with in the Volks (in Brighton) used to think. He also reckoned that everyone just had one dance to it- the Psy Trance Shuffle!!
As for mixing- as many styles as I can fit in! In no particular order- Ragga Jungle/DnB, 90-91 Piano House, 93-94 Breakbeat Hardcore, some Hardcore Breaks, Acid Techno, Breaks, Psy Trance, Jungle Techno, Reggae, Ska, Funk, Motown and Classic Hip Hop.
Ideally all at once!
