I reckon most of them come here when they’re fucked off their tits on drugs and can’t sleep so wind up trawling the internet for forums discussing music, drugs and fun.
I know I did!!!
Though you wind up reading so much shit online.
A few weeks ago I spent the night fucked on chang and watched the Senna movie – the next 27 (yeah, 27) hours I spent trawling the internet trying to find THE secret tape that was going to explain how he died.
I had a look at my history earlier today for that weekend… wow. On the plus side, I now know everything (theory and fact) about that whole episode in 1994!!!
What’s the most interesting night you’ve had fucked on drugs by yourself – what did you search for?
March 24, 2012 at 11:19 pm #1251870Ships, 70’s supertankers and their crew lists…my late father was a captain in the norwegian merchant fleet and he took me with him on 2×4 months voyages as far as Japan (-79), I looked up the ships and found crew lists and some private picture galleries…quite decent find but it took most the weekend….

My old man used to smoke hash years and years ago when i was in my first few years of senior school, found a bag with about an Oz of hash in it on my front door step under a plant pot, the plastic from the bag was just poking out so i went to investigate.

I love doing this, I had a bit of a passion for string theory once, kinda lost interest when I found out how many different versions there were and how none of them were right lol. I’ve had people beg me to stop talking about stuff like that before as it was “blagging their heads” :laugh_at:
March 26, 2012 at 11:52 am #1251881Well daft the thing with string theory is it’s still being researched so it’s not really “right” nor “wrong” since we don’t know. Gotta be careful with making definitive statements in science because of this. We can only go by what we THINK we know and what works in any given framework where we utilise the knowledge.
Anyone ever tried wikipedia-hopping while fucked? It’s crazy how much I’ve learned just by reading books/wikipedia articles after a night on the bend where I’ve not sobered up yet. Woke up one morning with something like 375 tabs open with a bunch of different websites on completely unrelated topics.
March 26, 2012 at 12:11 pm #1251875Well at the time (a few years ago) There was an anomaly in every single string theory equation that was about. They just cover it up with a squiggly symbol or some shite and use that as a random value afaik just to balance the equation properly.
