You seem to be using the south park method of:

for music. Especially if you’re not going to be performing the tracks yourself, making money as a lyricist will be a long road. You should find someone to perform your tracks and release them on the internet, like on soundcloud or youtube. Then you’ll have to…[Read more]

NO NO NO! Number one rule of time travel: whether you’re presently the past you in the future or the future you in the past you can’t ever let you meet. I’ve heard it can cause the universe to spontaneously combust.
No it just creates an alternate timeline. Have you not watched Star Trek?
I just find it ironic that someone who has enjoyed all the benefits of living in a relatively affluent country like the UK decided to murder a citizen of that country in cold blood to prove a point against the government.

That is because it is the way in which all matter behaves when it is unobserved.
Mmmm not quite. An unobserved book will always be where you left it, because the uncertainties of its constituent particles average out. Once you’re dealing with systems with 10s of atoms, quantum no longer really applies in the way we…[Read more]

How do you become a PV moderator?
Not asking to become one, just curious how they’re chosen or what sort of application process takes place.

Hmm explanation makes sense and that ^^ statement is too true.
Teaching non-native speakers proper english is really hard in a classroom setting, because there are so many rules you have to follow but they have so many exceptions as well.
By contrast teaching portuguese is piss easy because the rules are set and are…[Read more]

Why does fridge have a D in it but refrigerators don’t?
An abbreviation with an additional letter, where’s the logic.
I assume because the e at the end would make people assume the word is pronounced “fry-ge.” Even though there are words that break this rule, it’s the best explanation I can come up with.
But English…[Read more]

The answer is: Sometimes it is on, sometimes it is off, sometimes it is both on and off, sometimes it is in the fridge and sometimes it is everywhere else in the universe.
Until you open the fridge, then it is either on (if it’s working), off (if it’s not) and always there (unless someone has stolen it).

I would ask Hitler if he wouldn’t mind lighting my Hanukkah menorah.
Alternatively I’d like to find out how to induce a net gain in energy from nuclear fusion here on Earth, but there’d be nobody around who knows the answer to that (yet).
General Lighting, because I could have a great time learning to use and subsequently having fun with all his electronic kit. My intelligence and wisdom would increase by at least an order of magnitude too. Always a bonus.

Yeah either go with Numark or skip CD’s alltogether and get something like an APC40 and use it with Ableton Live. It’ll probably cost a little bit more than a CDJ but the payoff is substantial and you won’t have to carry a bunch of CD’s around. You can do a lot of cool stuff with that MIDI controller and make it really interactive.
If you’re…[Read more]
