made a pancake cake today

lots of layers of pankake with home made blackberry and strawberry jam in between with cream and berries on top

Someone from Scotland on another forum I visit told us about these deep fried pizzas that are folded in half and have doner meat in the middle, instant arterial clog material squared!

In Czech one of their favourite dishes is deep fried cheese.

Sounds amazing…..I often have deep fried pizzas, as there cheap as fuck and very filling.

If taken straight from the freezer it is gonna be fairly solid and can be dipped in the batter; then deep fried. You need an industrial size fryer which can reach 350 deg C; this fries the outside bit of the batter before the ice-cream can melt.

My local’ll fry anything you can bring that’ll fit in the frier for £1.

An I’ve had loads of fun with my mates home frier….frying stuff in batter. Like his wee sisters maths book.

I always thought these delicacies were confined to Scotland, although it now seems they are countrywide…

I’ve totally randomly managed to find a chippy down the road (sort of) from as well; at a place called Shotley near where the Stour and Orwell meet and become the North Sea…

I may even be tempted to try one one day; I would have already had to cycle 10 miles to get there so at least it wouldn’t be that unhealthy to eat one!
