I’m skiving off work today – supposed to have gone back yest and got up on time @ 6.30 ready to fight the day and fuck me was it cold!! Went downstairs to have a fag and cuppa and I could see my breath it was SOOO cold!….. and then I took the executive descision that bed was the best place for me in such Arctic conditions and have also fucked work off today, lol!

What’s the point of going in for one day, eh?!

BUT it’s my b-day next Wed (23 this year – sob!) so the chances of me being able to book it off as a hol has disappeared now me thinks 🙁 Own fault tho so can’t whinge

Anyone who has their b-day in Jan I have all the sympathy in the world for you – it’s shit! No one ever has any $$ to go out and celebrate and more often than not it is below freezing or raining! 😥

Hopefully off to Bulragia in 2 weeks with my boyf and im really looking forward! Although the price of flights/accommodation etc has rocketed in the last 2 weeks due to our shite summer and the kids all being off school…. don’t get paid until Wed (& am counting down the hours!!) so can’t book anything til then!!! Really frustrating as i’m watching the prices go up and up and up and there’s nothing I can do!!

Anyone been to Bulgaria before and if so what did you think? It’s the only place I really want to go on hols, nowhere else in Europe is grabbing me and I want to go before the € comes in and it becomes really expensive!! Just can’t wait to have a whole WEEK away from my desk job and the poxie phone that doesn’t stop ringing which is slowly driving me around the bend…… :hopeless:

Would like some other peoples views of their experiences of Bulgaria.. is having a smoke OK over there…? Etc, etc…..

                      Jesus – where do I start…?

Moved to Bristol when I was 15 after a long standing civil war with the old man.. no contact with him for over a year and had to call the phonebox around the corner from my parents house to speak to my mother! Compared with the delinquent 15 year olds that I see these days (and i’m only 22!) – I don’t think that I was that bad when I was younger…. but having to stand on my own 2 feet.. realise that life isn’t all hunky-dory and get a job so that I could eat etc at such a young age really has made me a much better person. When I say to people that I moved out at 15 they look at me as if to say “Your parents didn’t give a shit about you” but it was the best thing that they could have done! I am wise beyond my years in so many ways, perhaps I have seen and know about things that I shouldn’t but that’s better than leading a sheltered life and being naiive isn’t it?

School taught me a lot too…… GCSE’s, A-levels, UCAS points, Duke of Edinburugh awards aren’t everything… and I had a Catholic education – it’s so full of shit!!!!

I could be typing all night about experiences and situations that have made me the person that I am ….. but everything from the happy times I had when I was a kid, the hard times I went through as a teenager and the head fucks I brought upon myself to the people wh have drifted in and out of my life have all taught me lessons opened my mind and made me a better person… I don’t know if my bubbly personality or sunny outlook on life has helped, maybe things could have been different..?

Does anything else think that the way you look at things can make you a better/worse person?

Not looking forward at all to going back to the desk job tomorrow, i’ll be in tears by 5pm…… :hopeless:

Yeah me and the boyf are gearing ourselves up for a mammoth stint frying our brains on 2 mobiles, landline, a PC and laptop… have a few tricks up my sleeve tho for bypassing the chaos, but I wish I already had 2tickets sorted!!!!!

My mam bought me a camper van for my 21st which broke down on the way to Beautiful Days last year (it’s first ever festival) so i’m adamant that I WILL take it to Glasto – even if i have to push it from Wales!!!

                                GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

The heddlu in wales aren’t too bad when it comes to free parties, when i tried to get to the UKTek the police stopped me in my car and politley asked where i was going (so i told them) and the very nice officer said that he couldn’t let me take my car on to the mountain, but i was more than welcome to park it behind his and he’d keep an eye on it for me…
But there are always assholes, if you so much as look at them the wrong way it’s rubber gloves on and full body search (yuk!). It’s just important to keep your wits about you and know your rights as a raver!
