had to dig this thread back up……
at about 4.05 this morning i was at work… havin a break with mates, pretty brain dead,sitting outside and looking (daydreaming really) at the local landmark that towers above my place of work.. when i realised something was falling from the top………………………….. then i realised it had arms and legs:surprised
about 300 – 400 ft from the ground he/she let go of the chute.. and it filled with air (ish) and they dissappeared below the tree line
that made a very boring night at work interesting…. ta to whoever you were!:horay:

Nah! sorry, have to disagree with you there GL… there is an older presence at parties, just like everywhere else..
there are several rigs that have been about for many yrs lying dormant (BUT NOT DEAD YET!) in the lock ups of norfolk and suffolk, and even in n. essex.. all due to the recent policies of the local OBs.. (and remember, with age comes wisdom, thus it is the older rigs that are more cautious in the present climate)
i have been partying round here for the same length of time you have been on the scene round the thames valley area..and dont think there is much of a difference between east anglia and anywhere else..
Oh, and Ipswich is a soulless Sh#thole.. dont judge the whole region by your experiences so far in Ipswich!
I WILL go partying soon, when i can be arsed, and will give you a shout for sure
