dont know if anyones seen this on the webpage( http://www.rickels.co.uk/easternhaze/index.php )yet, looks like good news tho

We would like to let everyone know that the news story dated 14.06.06 was quoting the authorities concerns from over 2 weeks ago. Had this story hit the press then it would have been more relevant. However, since the representations were first submitted, much work has been done to resolve these issues.
Those of you who have been with us from the beginning will remember that this event was initially being held in Gt Yarmouth and after three months of organizing it was discovered that our venue did not have the required license and was unlikely to get one in time for the event. We had a festival floating in the ether with nowhere to land! Graciously, The Hon Hugh Crossley of Somerleyton Estate gave us permission to use his land. So began the designing of a new festival plan. We have worked flat out since then to make this the best event East Anglia has seen in a long time.
Thanks to the prompt and responsive support of the local authorities we have managed to condense our planning process into the short time span we have had. We are now close to agreeing our operating schedule with local Authorities whose objections to the event are only in place to ensure public safety and we have been assured that once this is in place there are no objections to this event taking place.
So hang on to your tickets and tell all your friends. Music and laughter and fun filled days, all these can be found at EASTERN HAZE
