Jeremy Clarkson is a nobber, but regardless, that took some balls…. or a lack of brain cells.

I’ve never really watched top gear until that episode. now i keep going round my mates houses with sky and watching it at 3. And WTF is wrong with Jeremy Clarkson seems like a bit of a living legend if you ask me!

What Use said,clarkson is a prize nob.(In my humble opinion)

top gear is funny in a horrendous ‘school yard’ way, and the 2 junior partners are just stupid, but Clarkson is a fully paid up hypocrite.

He has spent years slagging off ‘tree-huggers’ and regularly trotting out AGW denial BS, yet has suddenly changed sides with very little fanfare.

Notice in the first show of the new series, where he made a (priceless) ‘special needs’ gaff wi Jamie Oliver, he slipped in how he had one of his fields turned over to barley to encouragre some little birdys (which JC likes!), to show up. Which is absolutely laughable.

Also, he has dropped the denial that the world is warming up, and has shut up about cows and methane being just as important as co2 (as any body who gives a damn knows, this is typical denier/contrarian BS).

Well, Clarkson can’t moan about’ where have all me little birdies gone?’, without facing up to his own role in muddying the waters, as a stooge for the oil companies.

He will look like a very stupid and reckless man, in a few years time. Which is a pity, cause he is intelligent and sometimes v funny!

I still watch it and enjoy it tho, and i think the Bugatti Veyron is the most amazing and beautiful folly, the world has ever seen.

I worked in the TV industry for 3 years as an engineer and for a fair part of my life wanted to work in production – now I hardly ever look at the idiot box and the only TV set in my house is downstairs for when my relatives want to watch it…

I’m not surprised clarkson is trying to greenwash himself though, since hamster got mashed up in that prang there’s been a lot of criticism of top gear and there is a lot of competition for show commisions and presenters’ jobs..

many media types will say or do anything to keep in work (that brasseye programme did a wonderful job of exploiting this)

I know I shouldnt but I do love to watch it and find them all very amusing……. :hopeless:
