Don’t let it put you off legal nights though, I think it just depends which one you go to and their ethos behind it. I had my best night ever at Tribe of Frog at Lakota… the guys running that were a complete contrast to EoL. The atmosphere was amazing, so friendly, and they’d been putting up decor for days so every single surface was covered in UV banners and decoration. And the chill out room at the top floor blew my mind… loads of great big flapping butterflies in the ceiling, rainforest like effect all around. And a spot next to it to buy hot chai tea, bananas, and brownies… such good vibes 😀 😀

Yeah perhaps I’m being harsh on legal nights but the proportion of crap nights I’ve had at them (excluding band concerts and whatnot) vs the good ones has so far been unbalanced. I really hate
it when door staff are rude. You’re paying for them in effect so it doesn’t hurt to be nice.

fyi 414 isn’t a gay club lol … although there were a fair few gay dudes there that night. It was just a normal hard house night afaik. Man I had the best cheese toasty there haha … was well needed. 😀

Well good night bar the fucking bouncers at that place being massive dicks, they over filled the place as the original venue in stratford was a lot bigger and they were just panicking as they weren’t equip ed to handle it. I even see some guy walking down the stairs doing absolutely nothing get grabbed by a bouncer and thrown out, dunno if he’d done something earlier, but it didn’t look like it to be the way it happened.
