So IMO nothing can be more standard than getting a card or someone giving me a rose to try n be romantic. I’d still appreciate getting given it as i’m not a rude cunt (well i am) but i’d never give it to anyone (well i’d give cards even though i think they’re pretty lame 90% of the time) but my point is it’s just so boring and unimaginative….

yeah just thought i’d throw that one out there.

I love it when Markus makes me a cuppa or cooks dinner without me asking.
We don’t do the card and rose thing.

Are you putting the hints out there for Vallies day so you dont get any cards or flowers? I already have told Markus that he doesn’t need to do that, as I am just not into it.

I always send people cards but I make them myself and do silly photoshops of them.

Flowers – I hate receiving them, such a waste of money because they don’t last.

I’ve never celebrated Valentines. My partners birthday is the day before and when ever we go out with friends, places are full “romantic” couples – YUK

better to buy real plants/trees (especially if the recepient is a hippy gardener type).

My mates got married and arnt ‘hippie’ types but they had brought a house and wanted to make their mark on their garden so I got them 3 ‘old english’ perfumed rose bushes, lovely beautiful plants

I dont really ‘do’ valentines, I like a card but thats just an add on to being with a great guy who I appreciate (and loose it with – and I’m sure he’s just more patient with me ) every so often, and love him all year round <3
