my girlfriend wants to go to one of these countries South Korea, Japan or China, to work as a school teacher for a yr, then to go traveling around the world for a yr, now i know nothing about these places, my trade is a rope access technician,and painter n decorator

hmm, anyways, china they treat you like a king in hotels, any drug you like brought on silver platters, cheap hookers all of it.
probly not ethically right but would be quite fun i’d imagine

Its easy to mistakenly lump together ideas of “Oriental nations” when they all have slightly different approaches to their government and politics – it is actually SE Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand etc) where they have the death penalty for relatively minor drugs offences.
Drug users even emigrate from SE Asia to China as they get in less trouble!
Its not quite the case that drugs are “legal” over there but penalties are not dissimilar to a Western nation and cops are at present more likely to turn a blind eye. You still have to be a “decent chap” as there is always the chance of being stitched up if you make enemies.

Pm me If you want to and if you have any questions.The Semester starts in April and their is always October when we split for half term. 30.000 baht a month

Every full moon the partys happen in Koh pang yang so all good there but thats a good travel from Bangkok to there. As for drugs well its there but very hard to find.
