you can supposedly use a ticker-tape and just drop a weight and then measure the distance between the dots but experiments never go right when you’re in a science lesson 😛 but we actually used weights suspended from an elactic band and you move the elastic bands further apart and measure various extensions and derive some equation and you can work it out.. it didn’t make sense in my head but meh.
gravity actually changes depending on where you are on the planet.

christ on a mountain bike, they actually haven’t changed the experiments in two decades!

Unfortunately from distant memories I got a similarly incorrect figure – especially as it was much more amusing (for an 18 year old lad) to load up the rubber band with as much weight as possible until it gave way, and the weights clattered down with a great crash on the floor of the lab.

Grrr I’ve done something to my knees and ancles whilst training the other day. Today it’s hurting really fucking bad. Can’t put any weight on my left leg and hardly any on my right. both ancles are constantly in pain and as soon as i move my legs my knees lock up and I’m in agony. 😥

I had shit to do today as well. Not massively important, but a pain in the arse I can’t do anything! I just spent about 5 minits sliding down the stairs on my arse to gofor a cig! Getting back up wasn’t fun either.

yeah, the cheerleaders suck. half of the rugby team quit cos they’re sick of getting the piss taken out of them at every game they play cos of their little cheerleaders.

D: oh dear, go to a doctor!

i had a good day. went to teh shops on my free, friend dragged me against my will into topshop to help her choose her pants.. and managed to spend £70 :O gah!
