This is a thread for everyone to show their support for the victims of today’s attack!
For my part my thoughts are with anyone affected…
July 7, 2005 at 2:49 pm #1066426Likewise – my thoughts are with all those affected by this disaster – both the victims and those close to them.
I’m also thinking of those who will die during our retaliation.
July 7, 2005 at 3:16 pm #1066423Can’t say a lot more that hasn’t already been said.
My thoughts are with all those affected. And like parrotboy said – not just todays victims.

agreed. nothing good whatsoever has come from todays actions…
for every person who joins an anti-war movement another will go to army careers….
or join a militant group from their mosque or their prison gang
another lad will decide to give the nearest asylum seeker a slap as “revenge”
some will fight in Iraq
other will fight in Britain – whether by incidents like this or on the streets..if we are not careful this hate will divide our nation even more (it was our divided angry people who caused the war in the first place)
July 7, 2005 at 4:10 pm #1066425Anonymousblatantly horrific for all those stuck in the tube, or caught in the blasts, and all their freinds, families, collegues and associates. for what good it does, im sure there are millions of people around the world thinking of them and wishing them strength in this time, as we are here.
i know what lasting damage this sort of event can cause in peoples minds, as my cousin was blown up in ireland over 20 years ago and the wound is still sore in her immediate family. but it shouldnt distract us from what is really going on and that the people responsible for the attacks do have a point, which we should listen to if we do not want a repeat of this morning.
July 8, 2005 at 10:28 am #1066424I thought I’d lost a friend in London yesterday. I got a call late last night and she’s fine.
All I know is how bad I felt about someone who was OK. I can’t begin to imagine what it’s like for the others.
This is all getting ridiculous.
Hate breeds hate & fear breeds fear.
How come it’s only the innocents that know this?
To all who have been affected directly or indirectly, not just by this but by ALL the attrocities carried out in the name of ‘justice’ by ALL sides – I am truly, sincerely sorry.
Peace
