      todays random animal link

      http://www.cheshiresetflyball.co.uk/index.htm

seems sound enough to me – vets always complain that dogs are often not given enough exercise these days……..

Pity they don’t have something similar for cats. But trying to get a bunch of cats organised and getting them to do what you want would be nigh on impossible.

        That’s why I love them. 🙂

If they had an OAP section my dog would love this, but her arthritis would hold her up a bit!

There is a cat at the metpol training centre at Hendon – its job is to walk in front of all the newly trained police dogs and they are not allowed to chase it! (the picture regularly turns up on the net and “funny postcards of quaint British scenes….”)

This is clearly a dream job, it gets to wind up dogs without danger…

but it would be classed as civillian support staff….

I just dug up a document I had found on my work PC – written by a highly qualified vet, it describes ways to provide an appropriate feeding, living space and exercise/leisure environment for pet cats, to ensure they do not develop behavioural problems nor become overweight/unhealthy…

it basically involves redesigning your house and garden around the cat(s), to provide walkways, clawing spaces, resting space, feeding places and latrines…

cats may be half wild but theyve even managed to tame a vet…

                  somehow this doesn’t suprise me..

Yeah, but he/she is probably an insider innit! Cats have too much respect for themselves to become one of them. Not to mention style.

                    Big up the cats!

My cat gave birth on Friday to 3 lovely little kittens (the wee hussy, she’s only 9 months old herself). We got our spaying dates mixed up…

I’ll be starting the counter espionage and surveillance training just as soon as they can see.

The kittens are wickedy wicked but could do without all of mummies gentleman callers making the house smell bad. I took the drastic action of buying two big waterpistols t’other day to deter said gentleman callers…
