July 16, 2007 at 11:54 pm #1116472Friday night was good, went to see Blondie at Edinburgh Castle. Was a sober affaird and we had seating tickets, the seats don’t even face the bloody stage and we were about 3 miles away. We sneaked into the standing bit a few songs in where it was much better.
Saturday and Sunday were extremely boring, I spent 10hrs trying to fix my laptop on Sat and made no progress. Sunday spent doing uni work. Not very exciting.

Went top the local for a couple of mates bday celebrations friday, then Sat turned into an unplanned all day long drinking session. :crazy_diz
i have cuts an bruises that i cant explain, been told i didn’t fall over or get into any trouble either.
Some one did point out at about midnight that the river Thames looked cold . Well i wanted to try so i stripped off and dived in, it was fucking freezing and the current was really strong. I swallowed sooooooooooo much river water i spent the next hour being sick. I really need to stop my stupidity sometimes as swimming in the river is bad enough but when pissed is not good.
Oh and Sunday i worked in my local pub (I wasn’t smoking in the bar though :groucho:)

48 hours in a deep forest of east of France,5 Systems joining their rigs(20 real KW at least,with a really good sound),good people and great hardtek sessions…weather was perfect,chemicals were great,the venue was hidden and wonderful…
The cops just came sunday in the end of the afternoon,stood 3 minutes and disappeared…
I need some sleep,but I know i’ll smile all night long…

It was ace. I’ve broken the shower at my girlfriends so it was definately more than welcome.
Thats pretty much it. Well that and my chilli plants haves begun to fruit raaa:weee:

July 17, 2007 at 10:38 pm #1116466Went to a psy-trance party at the base of a giant wind turbine (those things are fucking huge close up, the blades were about twice as long as the party!). Decided to give drugs a break for 3 months now tho and let my brain regenerate a bit. :angel_fly

was the turbine moving at the time? cause you’d need a good old rig to cover the noise of those things!!

Yeh it was, really awesome sight seeing one of those things turning round at night, thinking tht if it fell off it would probably flatten the whole party :weee:. Windmill wasnt too loud tho, I think it was squeaking a bit, and the party was nice n loud and in a dome/tent thing anyway so it wasn’t a problem. One of the most amazing dawns, seeing the sun rise over the windfarm.
