Haha! Happy hardcore!!

It was the first ‘rave’ music I ever listened to but back then I didn’t know any better!!:crazy:

Got me into going to raves and into the whole scene tho so cant have been all bad!

When I hear it now tho it makes me cringe and want to run away and hide!!

Someone once started playing shooting star on our rig so we just turned the genny off! put a stop to that! :bounce_fl

we are still on about 92 – 2000:group_hug [also used to love shooting star and the likes,i still do but its not cos i like the tune anymore its just a sense ov nostalgia] . cos anything onwards from there its just comercial pants wank poo and many other dirty words i think everyones conception of “happy hardcore” is different hardly ever taken pills at a rave im ,deffo not a chav ,but i loved every minute of it [well mostly]:bounce_fl . but all in all we all hate and love different songs even from our favorite genre , im sure we could get the most serious devout drum n bass head to stomp to alot ov happy hardcore tunes [no drugs involvedraaa :bounce_fl ].

ooo that stuff annoys the living shit out of me. beyond that it’s usually SO underproduced (kick sounds like a kid with two sticks and ocd), there is only two synth sounds for the entire genre and they sound like dr dre snorted too much whiz and ket and tripped over his cat, and the vocals are HORRIBLE they sing about being happy but theyr so vacuous and inane they make me want to kill babies. die happy hardcore, die

although a very strong statement, i do agree, nice one 🙂

it was meant a bit tongue in cheek :yakk: . tho it does get turned off if someone tries to play it at almost all parties round here
