So someone posted the other month that Scientists confirmed music releases Dopamine, so if you binge on music will you have less Dopamine do you think?
:crazy_dru:crazy_dru:crazy_druApril 6, 2011 at 7:33 pm #1238117Haha. Not sure. When I listen to the music I love and are proper concentrating on it, I sometimes get a little sensational rush through by body and I can feel it in my head. Its a great little lift.

Do you get a ‘chill’ sort of feeling, the back of your neck goes tingly. I get this when I hear certain tunes and it definitely makes me feel happier. ๐

April 6, 2011 at 7:48 pm #1238111Haven’t had that happen to me, Haven’t heard the right tune though I suppose. ๐

I can just get into a mode of thinking sometimes where something so beautiful can make me cry as it’s so special.
Doesn’t always happen with music but it’s the main time it happens.
Major appreciation… think Acid helped with it raaa (i wasn’t on acid btw, i just mean past experiences)
April 7, 2011 at 12:00 am #1238116I could have told you that years ago, the music I love makes me feel fucking euphoric.
And yes I think that it does deplete dopamine but not to a point that your body can’t easily recover from like too much MDMA will eventually do.

You don’t know about my music addiction man…. it’s been chronic daily use for ten years :laugh_at:
April 7, 2011 at 1:20 am #1238112music is sound which the body is designed to deal with … unlike drugs what it’s generaly not suposed to deal with (drug depending – but i’m talking generaly). so I doubd it’ll have a massive inpact, alltho I do notice if i’ve been listening to alot of music i get cravings fr it when i’m not listening and do actualy feel a bit down after long periiods of no music. I guess it’s even addictive in a sence … so mby it does …
