Yeah, I remember alright, though it’s a bit of a foggy memory after all these years. I went off road in the 80’s but after many years in bricks and mortar I went back on the road again a couple of years ago and ain’t looked back since – it’s all a bit more low key now though, no free festies any more and I’m kinda reluctant to let myself be exploited by commercial ones, so I just bimble aimlessly about.

You might find Rob’s Speakeasy – Index of interest, but it’s a lot smaller than Tribal Living.

I heard about it from General Lighting at another forum called Tribal Living where we are both members.

Hi and welcome :weee: :weee: I’ve passed the Forest of Dean a few times on the way to Wales but never parked up there – must go and check it out some time.

There were some pikey scammers trying on the same thing got busted in Somerset this summer. This could even be the same lot. Be careful – probably best to talk to the OB, much as I hate to say that. Think of all the other people they’ll try this on with – it’s bang out of order I reckon. I’m a traveller too but I don’t go round ripping people off all over the place!

Could you get a tape-splicing kit and repair the snapped tape? Just a thought if you can’t find a replacement. Good luck :weee:

As industrial buildings go they do have a nice shape – quite clever in fact that curve (a hyperboloid I think) is super-strong to prevent stress fractures from the force of the wind which is huge on such a large thing. I bet the accoustics inside them would be awsome – put a big sound system in the middle and see how it works 😉

For the past 3 and a half weeks I’ve been parked up in what ought to be a perfect place for ’em – Welsh mountain moors, grazed by sheep and ponies – middle of nowhere. But sadly not a shroom in sight so far. Still, had plenty of rain yesterday and today so I’m hoping that might encourage ’em to start popping up 😉

I’ve never made tea with ’em or ought like that – just pick ’em and eat ’em fresh as possible – when you mess around with ’em you lose a lot of the potency.
