Another hypothesis I would like testing is the consumption of psychoactive drugs actually make you more intelligent by opening your conscious mind to new ways of thinking ( only if consumed in moderation, not to excess which I think would have the opposite effect ).

I always find duvet, loads of junk food and watching stand ups, Bill Hicks springs to mind always helps.
