Why Intelligent People Use More Drugs | Psychology Today
The human consumption of psychoactive drugs, such as marijuana, cocaine, and heroin, is of even more recent historical origin than the human consumption of alcohol or tobacco, so the Hypothesis would predict that more intelligent people use more drugs more frequently than less intelligent individuals.
November 2, 2010 at 10:26 pm #1230629interesting that is, dont find it surprising though I had always assumed more intelligent people took drugs. Apart from alcohol I associate that with thick people more than clever (unless its whisky obviously).

I dont really understand that either tbh unless its because mushrooms are not a drug they contain a drug but then it still doesnt really make sense.

November 2, 2010 at 11:04 pm #1230632although looking up the defeintion of drug; “A drug, broadly speaking, is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function.[3] There is no single, precise definition, as there are different meanings in drug control law, government regulations, medicine, and colloquial usage”
could be that they are think of drugs in different terms assuming that is accurate (wilki).
November 2, 2010 at 11:05 pm #1230615Na they are just not looking at the whole drugs picture and negating other drugs and only going for the top known drugs i think
