Normally I’m a bit sad and a bit scared on my last day at a job but I’m so excited about my new job it’s all I can do to sit still. :biggreen:

I’m wiggling about in my chair like a bug on a hotplate.

Suprisingly, so am I haha. I think you’re good mood is rubbing off on me :laugh_at:.
Although slightly annoyed that my tongue ring has just broken.
That’s what you get for letting your little sister buy you crappy tongue bars that glow in the dark from Claires Accessories haha …
(It never even glowed in the dark that well.. :hopeless:)
But hey, life’s good atm.
Oh, and try not to let that bloke next to you annoy you so much with his crisp-eating habits! haha

Yeah but a cool new tongue bar involves needing money. Money which I am currently short of.. So I am putting up with this tongue bar .. Although, it’s starting to hurt my mouth :hopeless: … Like, the top part had a smiley face on it that “glows in the dark/UV reactive” (bollocks) but the smiley face came off… So it’s just a neon circle but it’s starting to irritate my mouth now … The bottom part had little dimante thingys on it and most of them have come off … blergh.

Aha, good point! … They could write a very angry letter though? O.o

Being skint sucks. *hug* A local piercer might give you a clear retainer to put in it until you can afford a new bar, save irratating your mouth. 🙁

Aha, I’ve managed to blag twenty quid off my flat mate 😀 … She’s off to the doctors now and on the way back she’s getting money out the cash point (I’m a) too lazy to go down
b) my card is at my mothers house anyway)
.. Just means I gotta pay her back sometime …

Ahaha, don’t diss the powers of a very angry letter! You never know what it might say! :laugh_at:

Yeah, I do. It doesn’t feel like I’m going to work though because it is working with my best friend and the office is at his house. Rock on!

Worked in McDonalds for 8months when I was 16.. Hated every moment of it … Was my first job … Bleh.. I’m so glad I quit haha.

My first job was a chambermaid at a 5* hotel. I was 15 and earnt £2.25 a room, I thought I was minted! :laugh_at:

Ahaha.. Oh, I had a little Saturday job when I was 15.. Washing up in a pub …I got 2.90 an hour … Yeah, same, I thought I was dead rich :laugh_at::laugh_at:

Hmm it seems a lot of people on here are stuck in jobs they don’t enjoy … Ugh, I need to search for a job .. I’ve been out of work for a month now .. It’s so boring =/ I never thought I’d say it, but i actually want a job atm haha. Need money.

Yep. I think once I move off to uni I’ll think more about where I’m applying and how I feel doing that job. Would be nice to have a job that I atleast don’t dread going to. A lot of it depends on the people you work with as well though, and whether you’ve got a manager who has their head up their own ass.
