to have 1000s of my space friends, like most of them are just fucking attention seekers with nothing better to do,
i can see it with bands thats ok and looks good that they have 1000s of my space fans even though they might be shit………….
i myself don’t want to exceed 200 thats with bands included
so today when i realized fuck 205 friends i have slipped up

myspace is only really good to leave messeges for people or ask a lot of mates people the same thing. e-mail used to work but my inbox is riddled with spam, i dont even check the thing anymore – i got 1200 unread messages :crazy:

But I can’t see them having the time to talk to me,but I don’t mind having them on my site,to give them support,thats the only way I can do it..
I have friends I don’t know who are,but every time they look on my site,they see different bands and homepages..like,Level-1,PartyVibe,Dj Ruben,Titch,Spiral Tribe,Dj Fattman,deadsilence syndicate,Future Analogue etc..etc
I think I help to promote their music in the only way I can..
I haven’t asked for many friends myself,but have sometimes experienced that people who request for my “friendship” sometimes write to me complaining about me never writing to them..
But hey..they requested me,I don’t mind having their name on my homepage but don’t expect me to write to you all the time..

myspace is a great free way of promoting yourself. i started off just friending people i actually know, but the more i do gigs, the more artists i meet and want to link on myspace. also its great for tracking down lost friends. ive met up with three people from when i was 17 and lost contact. cant put a price on that.
also when i get my showreel sorted, having lots of friends mean that my bulletin about my real site and other web-based productivity gets to more people.
there are broadly three types of peeps on myspace. those tghere for chatting to mates, those there to promote somethign and those who just seem to want to get loads of friends. i mean, i keep gettingrequests from americans. wtf? like im going to ever meet them, or have anythign to do with them ever. why friend me? i dont get it.

If people don’t like Myspace,then just stay away,and let it be there for the
people who likes it….Simple

well i wasnt saying its wrong, i use it as i have said before just seems a bit strange all the 1000s of add ons when there just that:wink:
