Went to HEAT at the Brixton Accademy and had a banging night. Then carried onto an after party called FLAME at The Vault (i think). Carried onto Camden to have breakfast in Witherspoons by the canal. Considered Koko (formerly the Camden Palace) but thought the £15 entrance fee was a bit steep.

So it was to be we did a pub crawl around the pubs that were open in Camden eventually finishing up at a local in our town. From the first drink lifted to the last drink put down (amoung other naughty things) we had a 30 hour bender.

Started off at the pub with my family and few close friends, got home at around 2 and thought I would fone the party line just on the of chance that it may be in Milton keynes and it was!! and within walking distance from my house!hehe!! fukin LOVELY!! Had an exellent nite apart from wen the random guy that gave us a lift home got stopped by the police a bit scary coz we thought he may get knicked!! But he didn’t! The bloody police officer was the same one that came my house wen I was paranoid! He reconised me to what are the chances of that! He was lovin it though! squat monkey im really curious how you got the hole fukin burger van there? Am I a bit wierd I have never seen a burger van at a free party before I thought I was seeing things!!

they are becoming more common as raves last longer than they used to so some people get hungry … the burger van has been at a number of raves – I’m glad to hear it was there as I thought hampshire cops had confiscated it at the last moot!

its actually smaller than many of the rig vans required these days – and fairly easily brought into the warehouse through the roller doors along with everything else.

I was initially a bit gutted the “thames valley” crews were split at NYE – but in other ways its excellent that both ends of the region got a rave as it minimised peoples travel hassles – probably even better for cops and society in the long run!

although two buildings get raved less people are driving around moosed and there is less trouble due to the smaller numbers (unfortunately there is still way too much anger on this scene and a lot of internal politics which does spill over into actual fighting (at least most of it is scuffles that are quickly stopped but its still pointless)

dunno about the MK building but the other (slough) building wasn’t left in that bad a state TBH.

A couple of windows got smashed by an idiot (who was ejected), and some the trash bags were left inside the building, but where on earth else could they be taken on New Years Day? cops had arrived by the afternoon and wanted people to be on their way – other businesses were starting work (the area is used for 24/7 businesses such as industrial cleaning) and the extra vehicles would cause a traffic hazard.

this wasn’t exactly “prime industrial property” anyway; its infrastructure dated back from the 1950s, no part of it would conform to modern building safety standards for “legit” business and anything of value in it had already been recovered. still no excuse for mindless vandalism…

if crews stick themselves to buildings like this and don’t rave obvious “new-ish between lets” ones there isn’t that much of a problem, apart from a certain amount of tension from a minority of the travelling community (ironically, the younger ones!) who seen to think think raves are “middle class kids/foreigners encroaching on their territory”….

all considered though well done to everyone involved for two excellent raves despite “zero tolerance”

i was in hackney raving, gettin mashed, doing visuals with catarax, and watching chavs tear lumps out of each other in the third room. sketchy as fuck, but well good fun none the less. came back to a stinking, trashed house (table in the bath? beer cans glued to the wall? what the crazy bollock is gwan there?) wat i get for livin with students.

why anyone would want to bring spray paint to a party is beyond me :rant: unless of coarse they where actually going to draw something artistic and not some stupid tag!
