nah yellow arch is down in shalesmoor. i dont really get the concept of it, its a music studio, but every so often they do nights there. surely you wouldnt wanna do a club night in a music studio?

Sheffield really is the Northern clone of Reading :laugh_at:

down south they do exactly this in a place called “Plug and Play” which was (for those with long memories!) formerly the Freestate studios

bear in mind a decent recording studio what deals with all genres will need a substantial amount of space to record bands with real instruments (drumkits, guitars, vocalists etc). In many cases the idea is to give them the same space they would have for a gig/concert, so acoustics are similar and the microphones can be placed accordingly.

so when the studio is not in use at weekends, this space can be used as a dancefloor, with the decks/mixer etc put presumably in the control room area (which can also be secured to keep muppets out of it)

i think ive been there, not sure always get the stag works and yellow arches confused..

So did I. The husbands never been and he loves caves and stuff so I’m really looking forward to taking him there. Plus we’ve book to stay in the cutest converted watermill.

Haircut, bath, long walk with Liloo, warm up in the factory hall/garage where we have our busses parked, then to GMS live(not my kind of music, but what the heck!), backstagepass, acces all areasraaa…and temporally insane/eyeballed for the rest of the weekend!

just got back from work and gym..wrecked, but durable. Will stay indoors, with a few beers. Tomorrow will venture out and find a good party with few of my close ones.
Ill probably head to shorditch/old street sides, there are many things happening post- midnight etc.
