Hi Im working in Camden for 6 weeks starting on tues 30th may.
my agency will put me in a bnb which I dont like too much unless I can find somethingelse!
So if any of you guys know of or have a room you can let to me for that short period please please let me know. I have upto £450 per month of my companys money to spend on it!
I wouldnt mind travelling to work each day so long as its no more than 1hour to camden.
you’d be very very lucky to find anything in london at that price
i lived in a shit hole in london in 1995 and paid more than that to share a tiny bedroom with a stranger
dunno if it still goes on but some squats used to charge a little bit for short term people who weren’t active in maintaining the building / contributing in some other way

I know I wont get anywhere in Camden for that price but i dont mind travelling in. Im currently living in london and paying £330 a month for a huge double room in a house share with no living room but 2 bath rooms and big garden, not that its been warm enough to hang in the garden since ive been here!! maybe I was lucky this time! but am at the opposite end to camden 🙁 the problem im finding is that most places want at least 3-6 month contracts. ah well I can keep looking and trying!! if not I can put up with bnb for 6 weeks, Id just rather not! so, fingers crossed xx !!
