So It’s only just struck me I never changed my default blackberry alarm and it drives me fucking insane cos it’s the most annoying sound ever.

FUCKING FINALLY CHANGING IT NOW PFFFF… Might make it easier to get up seeing as this sound makes life seem like hell when it’s the first thing you come round to.

I think there is a team of people who work for phone companeis and their task is to devise the most annoying and obnoxious alarm ringtones.

Mate needs to be a team of people to wake you up nicely in the AM.

Being woken up by horrid noises is fucking nasty, where as being woken softly by someone is nicer. I think being woken by sound is the most disturbing way to be woken anyway. It send your brain into action stations telling your eyes to look for dangers etc. Not good.

This is why I have an alarm clock which I can plug my iPod into.. wake up to the nicest tunes ever and its a sick start to the day. Would well reccomend it, who wouldn’t want to wake up to some epic trance?

my alarm is a female teacher singing a good morning song to a classroom of kids, so shes all nice n chirpy, and about 30 kids repeat the sentence every time after she sings it lol, its well cute.
I think i just randomly downloaded it from youtube

funny, though he might have left some important bits out of the construction. I can see why though, as if that was a battery clock and he wasn’t a white american hipster with a pet cat but from certain other nationalities, he wouldn’t have trouble being woken up in the morning, a fuckload of armed feds would soon enough do the job for him, and they would not let him get any more sleep until he convinced them that this little project wasn’t intended for bad purposes..

i would end up hating music i like… i find whatever it is i wake up to it gives me stress if i hear it in any other context

apparently being awoken in a sudden manner by loud noise and raucous is viewed as wrong and even unhealthy for all the reasons log mentions (and can lead to people being involved in road traffic collisions and workplace accidents). There are some alarms with a progressively rising level of sound but I haven’t tried them out yet…

tbf that is what the blackberry does, but i’ve just had it set to that for too long and whenever i hear it it is stressing
