i dont think we can blame the state of the free party scene in the uk on ketamine alone, to be honest.

But ketamine usage is at its peek ever since I’ve known about it (17 years – 18 years) and back in the old days ketamine was considered a dirty drug, like smack. Everyone hated it when people cut pills with ket and always had a shit night on it. Now you can’t go to a party without someone K Holed next to the bass bins!
I’m not totally against K, it’s just something that I’ve noticed. FFS, I do K, but not loads. Some people just notice the similarities between K and skag.
Anyway, I’m thinking back to 1992.

If you want real partys get into Europe, but imo those still wont match the 89-93 partys, it was a brave new world….June 2, 2008 at 12:07 am #1173485Too be honest though, things are bound to change and its the same with everything thats ever been. With this in mind you should accept it and move to the future and make the most of what its to be. dwelling in the past changes nothing!
Also, I dont know whether your just remembering the good parts or what, because from what my mum tells me, It wasn’t all good back then and there were problems as there is now.
Dont get me wrong though. its nice to remember good times. But even at my young age, I remember good times, but barely remember the bad. Although that doesnt mean there werent plenty of them…

I was 16-17 when these partys were going on. i then got into the squat & traveling life, though after castle morton, m5 , morton lighthouse ect it got smaller n the raves went comercial. the partys got smaller n smaller in the uk. mainly through the law, lack of intrest, changes in drug culture and changes in society.
