thats quite a mission getting that many animals into a Ford Escort…. wonder if he was gonna take them to that place where the rats were getting shower cubicles…:biggreen:

I feel a bit sorry for him though as it appears he’s just giving his missus and the pets a lift somewhere, as yet its only suspicion of drink driving [innocent until proven guilty] and its just possible the animals started fighting and distracted the driver… glad to hear they were all OK..

Eleven dogs and pig survive crash
A man has been arrested after a car carrying nine puppies, two dogs and a pig crashed into a barrier on a Cumbrian road. The Ford Escort came off the road and crashed into the barrier on Dalton Lane, Barrow, on Thursday night.

A police spokesman said a 41-year-old Dorset man fled the scene. He was later arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

The animals were unhurt and taken to the home of a woman who was also in the car. Police inquiries are continuing.
