      I’ve just heard a bit of this documentary on Radio 4 (only thing I can pick up here apart from crappy commercial stations, no pirates here 🙁 ) and these scientists are talking about some ancient bones they found at Cromer (on the Norfolk coast)

      apparentely they belong to a mammoth, and thousands of years ago there were mammoths, rhinoceros, monkeys and bears (and the sabre toothed tiger) all native to East Anglia…

        that be the west runton mammouth you bve talking about! west runton is a prim fossil hot spot…my parents took me there when i was a kid toi find some…found jack shit but was a good day out what i can remember! norfolk got lots of history!
