You may have noticed we are currently under attack from an odd type of spammer. They are attempting to spam but there software doesn’t seem to be working properly because the end result is just a load of encoded clap-trap instead of a readable text. For your own PV safty I strongly advise you do not quote the spam post if you are writing in a thread where the spambot has posted, or you may end up getting banned by mistake when the spam account is banned. You can have your profile reinstated but all of your posts will get wiped in the process, leaving a huge gap on the frum. Trust me, you don’t want this to happen. SOme of you know this happened to me last year. You can post in the thread no problem, (as long as it isn’t a thread started by the spambot) just don’t quote the basted. This also makes the mods jobs a bit easier as they don’t have to edit your posts to remove the spammy text.
