Sunday roast, motorsport, football and generally a good excuse to do fuck all….and adequate time to come up with an excuse to skive work on Monday lol

Well.. (some may say unfortunately) I don’t eat roasts and I barely tolerate motor sport but for Marcus’s sake (he LOVES it) and I am usually working in prep for mondays….. so my sundays are still pretty shit – I cant be sick or skive otherwise I dont get paid and i need to get paid so i can pay my bills and live here….

( I have had my ‘quota’ of sick days in the yr as I had those 2 ops – I now dont get paid as I had over my ‘limit’)

Makes me laugh that in todays world your only allowed to be unwell for x amount of days. If someone is ill they are ill. There’s no hurrying up to get back to work, that’s what makes it worse….

I have been allowed 1 month at full pay, 1 month at half pay and then stat sick pay

this is fine if I am in a usual year- as I have had 2 1/2 days off sick in 2 years

but i have been told I have to have 2 operations this last yr
– one i had 2 weeks off and the other 3 weeks – so i am now in to half pay – oh the joy of working hard pretty much every woking day and not taking the piss since I was 18……..
