Thankfully he had a lucky escape (could have been way more painful!) but this is a bit daft…

would have made more sense to make sure there is a fence between him and the bull or stand the other side of the river and use a tripod and telephoto lens/setting :you_crazy:you_crazy

      Man is gored photographing bull
A man suffered injuries to his thigh when he was gored by a bull as he tried to photograph it in a field. An ambulance was called on Wednesday evening to the field situated on a small island in the River Stour, in Sudbury, Suffolk.
The 54-year-old man suffered lacerations to his thigh.
“This should be a warning to anyone walking in fields with animals, they need to treat them with respect,” the East of England Ambulance Service said.
“The initial reports were that he had suffered significant injuries in the groin area,” the service said.
“Clearly the situation could have been far more serious had the injuries been in a slightly different area.”
