well none of you came did you! i looked out for you, rang you, but i was still on my own! lol! it was an ok night tho. i got brought loads of drinks and met a few people. didnt go coven tho. i missed my train and spent the night in a police station. only just got back. how was the psy invasion 4 all of u that went?

I think I might have been taking a nap when the message came through

Was meant to go was mostly my mates there, was too fucked after a heavy session from friday to sun morning though…

ah my mate went to that reading uni anti party. (dan that’s where i said we got invited to when we went to psy invasion) was outdoors as far as i’m told
he said it was funny as fuck seeing people from his old school off their faces…

erm … well … i wasnt to impressed at all … ended up in my camping chair at 6 in the morning having some guy *with no manners* chatting to me …
we left early which is never normal!
fair play to whoever organised it … people had a good time but we got told there was going to be a party, not two speakers and a load of pissed up students …
got pulled by campus security, me and playground politics off here went to the car to grab some things, he drove past PP shouted ”can we park on campus” the rentocop got out and just saw me and him routing through a car *’Rach’s car off here* he wanted to see i had the keys so to prove we hadnt broken in … problem was i was battered so had put them down somewhere … this escapaid went on for sometime until it got to the point of him saying he was going to call the police … PP eventually found them and he buggered off … it started raining … my mood was sour …
was glad to get back to a warm house …

the atmosphere got better when the uni students flaked out at half 4 in the morning and just left the free party heads standing!

Conclusive proof that uni (or at least the social life associated with it) has gone all to shit these days.
When I lived there the students (and some of the lecturers!) were perfectly capable of partying with the rest of us :laugh_at:
mind you I suppose its exam time now, or maybe its the end of exams ball …
The only redeeming feature of Reading I remember was that if you hung around with the crowd in the “East End” you could lead the “student lifestyle” without having to do all the exams etc – I kept this up for over 10 years :laugh_at:
that said the students were lucky to get away with it, as apparently at Reading they will even withhold your degree for non-academic (but not quite criminal) disciplinary offences

also what didnt help was the music … literally letting the tune end and pressing play on another. stopping the music after each set. drum n bass. bllleeruugggh.
