July 2, 2006 at 11:49 am #1080845Took me a few minutes to figure out what you were talking about (ive just woke up). But thats cool. Im presuming you have one of those DVD/VCD/MEdia players that have ethernet and support internet radio when connected to the net. Cool 8)
Incidently how long and what were the circumstances for it to come up ?

It is one of these…

“The KiSS DP-1504 includes a 40GB Internal Hard Disk. This enables the user to store Audio/Video/Picture ccontent on the DVD Player. This action can be done from the DVD drive or with KiSS PC-Link. As the DP-1500, the DP-1504 comes with Ethernet and Wireless Connections enabling KiSS PC-Link and WebRadio.”

Anyway I don’t know what criteria they go by but this is the first time I found us listed…
PS: Just by the by, in my experience these things do the job of streaming media very well but they’re also very buggy (keeps crashing, hard disk occasionally makes worrying noises, menus do different things on the same button presses, etc…)!
July 2, 2006 at 5:22 pm #1080846I would guess they are using a feed from shoutcast.com. Probably limited to the top 5000 streams based on amount of listeners.
Out of interest are any of the other streams from level 1 listed ?
July 2, 2006 at 5:44 pm #1080843how much is one of those things? might get one when they’ve dealt with the bugs…

Not that I’ve noticed but I’ll keep an eye out for them although there are plenty of streams from other well known sites…
