This as quite a good doc on the Rwandan genocide. It does contain some graphic scenes of dead men women and children. Also it show the well know clip of the Hutu man hacking at a Tutsi woman. Although the camera man is about 60 metres away and the men are out of focus, you can still see some of the horror of what actually happened. It gives Romeo delaire’s sideof the story. He seems pretty honest but I really can’t be sure whatb to believe. I know that he stayed longer than he had to, but I don’t really know the full story of how he left. It was on mediacl grounds or something. Also there is allot of mixed view of what really happened with the belgium soldiers who were killed, apparantly, delaire fled in fear but again I don’t really know the full story. I hope you watch it if you haven’t seen it yet, or if you have drop some comments down on here. I love to know other peoples opinions on things that i’m unsure about.

There is also this doc The ghosts of rwanda. It gives allot of testimonys from people who were there, but I am always a bit funny with docs that have american deep viced narators, they just seem cheesy. See what you think though.

For some reason i’m having trouble embedding these to videos on the same page, if anyone can fix it it’ll send you some good vibes through pay pay. : )

And the moral is – when you create a new country, make sure the inhabitants aren’t going to massacre each other after you leave. Easier said than done.
