…cant believe today in the charity shop i found ‘pink floyd..wish you were here’ in excellent condition …
do you think its worth anything?
i also bought some others ….:love:September 18, 2007 at 1:48 pm #1120370What a great find ! Personally I think it’s worth about a million quid ๐ Though you probably wouldn’t get that for it unless it’s something like a very early pressing in unplayed condition, or it has a special picture label with all the sleeve inserts, etc. IANAcollector, just trying to remember prices in the S/H vinyl shop when I lived near one.
IIRC more usual prices were 5 quid for a typical vinyl album in average nick – maybe 7 to 10 for a double album or one in good condition. These days I can’t even afford vinyl off the stalls on the market so don’t bother to look ๐ Maybe someone more current with things can give a better idea ?

September 18, 2007 at 9:03 pm #1120365Ebay is more accurate as they actually sell. Some of the prices on Discogs are ludicrous.

September 20, 2007 at 2:52 pm #1120364if you don’t intend mixing there are plenty of cheap turntables, some even have built in pre-amps so you can plug them into line in on your computer and don’t need to have an amp with a phono input stage
