I look at Islamic extremism to be a much higher threat to this country than the BNP will ever be. :crazy_diz

With all due respect the two things go hand-in-hand, that’s relatively obvious. They play off against each other.

If people think Islamic extremism is actually a significant threat and will achieve any political or social change in Britain, they need to stop reading/watching reactionary populist media.

There’s a handful of people acting like cunts, admittedly, but it’s a handful. They are not going to achieve anything but more support for the far-right. The media condemns the BNP on one hand then does it’s best to aggravate the very arguments which persuade impressionable people to vote them.

why is it when you don’t side with people like this, that you are all of a sudden some right wing fascist, or a BNP supporter.

I’m sorry, where has this been suggested?

I don’t think you are a BNP supporter, or a right-wing fascist, I just think you’re statement of “hammers will be drawn” was pretty pathetic and plays into the very hands of the people you are trying to condemn.

You are also seemingly under the impression that they might actually influence people and change something. They won’t. At all. Furthermore, we have first and foremost democratic freedom of speech. I think the march shouldn’t be allowed to happen, because it’s fuelling the fire of religious hate, but we can’t go attacking people or locking them up for speaking.

I think the media have not a lot to do with this. Media or no media, the cunts are still going to do it. I still have the same opinions before I even seen the media coverage of said CUNTS.

It has everything to do with this, come on.

Take the Luton protest at the soldiers parade. There were some 25 Muslim protestors waving banners and shouting at the soldiers. This became headline news on all channels, the papers went mental, the Sun created outrage, the Mail spouted their hate.

On the same day there was tens of thousands of people marched in Belfast for peace in Northern Ireland, as a protest to recent paramilitary activity. This union from both sides of the conflict got barely any coverage, yet 25 odd protesters did. Also, there were two other soldiers parades on the same day, which passed without any trouble.

However, cue two weeks of media outrage, bandwagon jumping, condemnation and general spouted hate against a generalisation, nots specific people. Take the Mail reporting that Sharia Law may be implemented in the country. Not it won’t, it was never seriously suggested or even talked about, it was an out-of-context quote from some nobody judge. But the Mail loved to stir up that hate, and twisted a story out of it. Fantastic.

There was a mass of Muslims who protested directly against the extremists who had abused the soldiers. Did this get widely reported in the Sun/Mail/Torygraph/Times? No.

Media and perception has everything to do with it.

Islamic Extremists are a major threat to our way of life. They don’t give a fuck about politics. All they care about is jihad and i’m sorry but i’ve had enough of em now.

MisterDuck, the point I am trying to get across is that the Media are not responsible for these people. There is a world that takes place out of media. I rarely read newspapers, so I don’t know, all I know is that I have an opinion regardless of what the media says about there opinions, people can make up there own minds. I know that they are partly doing it for media attention, but they are still doing it. They are still going to march through a town, spouting there idealogical codshit. It will be a news story, only because it is happening.

Of course they give a fuck about politics, you’ve already mentioned Sharia Law. This has just as much, if not more, to do with international political history than it has to do with religion.

7/7 and 9/11 were isolated incidents. In terms of 7/7, it’s been one attack. The IRA used to blow up 5 bombs a year.

Besides, I’m not saying they weren’t horrific. But they still aren’t threatening our way of life. What have they achieved? I don’t see sharia law. I don’t see masses of extremists. I see a multicultural predominantly state living in harmony only under threat from minorities of both the Islamic far-right and the Nationalist far-right.

Ah, if we’re getting into who is responsible for Middle Eastern Islamic extremism, that’s a whole different story. You can make up your own mind, of course. I’ve already said I don’t agree with the march. But threatening violence and saying you will vote BNP as a reaction is simply pathetic and limited, to be honest.

You know, lets vote for a party which denies the holocaust, which until forced to by law didn’t allow anyone other than white members, who will ban homosexuality in public, who will deport masses of legitimate British citizens based on some false notion on “indigenous race”.

They are as bad as each other. And they both love each others existence, they play off against each other.

EDIT: You’ve said you were joking about the BNP. The violence thing still stands though.

Yeah, but how are they changing our way of life? British culture and way of life hasn’t changed! I know about global attacks.

And this won’t be a popular view, but the West is reaping what it has sown. I don’t condone any violence and this is not meant as disrespect to innocent victims anywhere, but the reason these attacks are happening have fuck all to do with religion fundamentally. The history of how the West have treated Muslim countries and Arabic countries over the past hundreds of years, right up till the implementation and continued support for Israel, the gulf war… the CIA fucking trained Al Queda.

Well its changed British life at the very least because we are talking about it…

and it does have just a little bit to do with religion…

MisterDuck, the point I am trying to get across is that the Media are not responsible for these people. There is a world that takes place out of media. I rarely read newspapers, so I don’t know, all I know is that I have an opinion regardless of what the media says about there opinions, people can make up there own minds. I know that they are partly doing it for media attention, but they are still doing it. They are still going to march through a town, spouting there idealogical codshit. It will be a news story, only because it is happening.

Mr Duck I dont really read newspapers, my news input is the BBC news. Sad I know but this is my little input!

I don’t care if this is correct by your views or not but as I don’t have all the time in the world to review peoples comments on the free party situation I don’t care but it is how I feel.

Our country is in a state. What the fuck am I supposed to do? I want to help, give me ways that I can help and do something for the raving community and I will try the hardest I can whatever ….

I do feel though we could be fighting for a lost cause as I feel the whole free party ideal is no longer what it was when I first started raving.

I maybe wrong, please correct me!!! But the idea of a free party for me is for like minded folk getting together somewhere/anywhere that doesn’t cause disturbance to the locals and to dance your asses off until the rig goes home. We dont want to upset or offend anyone! All we want to do is dance to music!!!!!

Some of my best nights out have involved travelling half the country with shit directions written on cases of beer/ fag packets, passenger window etc. but we will get to the party in the end… hundreds of miles travelled but the end is worth it.

I personally belive the party ethos needs to be considered, honestly how many of you go to parties to make a quick buck?

We dont need you we can all stomp and enjoy ourselves fine!!

If you just answered yeas, FUCK OFF we dont need you…
