TBH I reckon its something we ought to do, would be good fun. Problem is finding a location and time good for people.

I could be keen for a meet up in London somewhere while I am there end of June-end of July 🙂

re: the drinking ale part— not too sure as it usually is 50/50 whether it makes me get purple splotches all over my face… not fun for me but highly amusing for everyone else….

i got to a good location in wales you have to pay the farmer £3 then he will leave you alone its right in the mountains im going july 31st obviously beeing peak season there will be alot of others there and its not a camp site as in showers etc

I’d definitely be up for a camp out, might only be able to make it for a night but sounds like a good plan to me. Anyone near Oxford who’s planning on going?

i’m near oxford.

me n my mates found the best camping spot the other day, next to a massive reservoir in the trees, looks so amazing! still a bit too cold for camping so gonna leave it for a few weeks.

think people are too spread out 2bh, be loads of hassle and will blatantly only get 3 people turn up.

I reckon you’d get more than that but mostly those who live in SE England or London as thats most of the active PV users actually are these days..

well i google earthed where i go and these people have put a couple of clips on youtube flick through so you guys can see what its like basically theres a huge field at the bottom you camp in but they dont show much of that. YouTube – ‪Operation Black Fanny Part 1‬‏ and YouTube – ‪Operation Black Fanny Part 2‬‏ well im gonna be there so if you want to head up there cool if not let us kbnow what you come up with but im going on a sunday i know but just easier and less traffic on the way

well im already going 31st july for 3 nights i dont expect everyone to drop every think and come because thats sunday to wednesday but i was going before this thread was made so i will go with 1-2 cars of friends . the place will be busy with other campers too i have been in oct and there was 5-10 other groups camping and up the other end when we went once there was a small outdoor rave maybe the welsh members will know the place more better
