ok here is my 2 cents…..

You could also go down the route of getting some speakers built by someone from here:

        Cool link :love:raaa

ok here is my 2 cents,

            buy two 0f these http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Turbosound-TXD121-12-2Way-PA-Speaker?sku=606040

power it with one of these http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Crown-XTI-4000-Power-Amplifier?sku=481590V

This amp is good for a number of reasons, it means you dont need a crossover as it has a dsp built in, light weight and stupidly cheap (50% of what it is in the uk). It also mean if you want to buy another set of tops at a later date it can easily power them with enough headroom.

            buy 2 of these

            http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Turbosound-TXD215-2×15-Subwoofer?sku=606044

            Powered by one of these

            http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Crown-XTI-2000-Power-Amplifier?sku=481589

That comes in at just over $4000, in reality you will also need a flightcase for the amps ($89) and some decent speaker cable ($90).

            :yakk:

okay mate, i just gathered my cash and am about to buy my shit in 2 weeks, and i was wonderin:
are you sure that the XTi 2000 will power the 215s? id think that they would need the XTi 4000 considering theyr twice the wattage of the 151s, maybe you got them the wrong way around? or am i just not technically in tune enough to know that you are correct? hehe please give us a hand ^^ cheers mate, nice one! thanks for all the help so far.

Put your money back in your pocket and do some proper research in to what you are about to presently planning to run into blind.

Sorry to make judgements but from what you have posted in this thread IMO you do not know nearly enough to be correctly selecting, buying and using speakers just yet. Understand a bit about how it all works and what you want to do first, otherwise it WILL be wrong and you WILL waste your money. Guaranteed.

Either that or blast your money on a load of mismatched junk that you won’t be suitable for use and will sound as good as a cheesegrater coupled with a pair of bellows.

If you MUST have something right now, perhaps consider something like the Void Basys system.

                http://www.proaudioparts.co.uk/void.asp (Top of the page)

                Specs: http://www.voidaudio.com/product_detail.asp?id=46

Its all-in-one, practically plug-and-play, you get all the gear needed to go included (Flight case for the amp, cables e.t.c) and more importantly its all matched and designed to work together.

If you come out with ‘nah but that looks shit’ that would perfectly exemplify my earlier point.

Take time and think about it, or you will fail.

                🙂
