March 26, 2008 at 12:18 am #1158769i had a wild weekend in Berlin with some friends. we found out about a party on saturday night that was going on in and empty lot in a shopping mall (!) and went to that all night. the music was pretty good, a bit housey but in an edgy german style. met some quality people there
when that ended we got taken to a club that was going on until tuesday morning. heard some wicked acid through a hefty rig in there. had some very trippy pills that just added to the bizarre experience of being surrounded by massive (and i mean steroid massive) skinheads with tattooed faces stomping about. but it was so hot in there with no where to chill that i eventually had to get outside into the snow
i liked berlin a lot, especially the people… all the locals i met had a positive, easy going manner and a good sense of humour. even the steroid boys were only interested in showing off to each other

didnt leave till 4am on mondai..

I heard the only reason the party went ahead was because 200 people rushed the entrance before the cops could assemble (wihtout the risk of a full on riot)
OK “people power” worked that time but cops aren’t going to forget being made to look idiots like that so they will defo want to track down “who was responsible” if they can..
