due to bristol pigs being semi-militant, corrupt, organised crime lovin’, psychotic bastards, brissle freeparties are all a bit hard to come by.
i would say the best bet is to go to some nights at trinity, depot and lakota and ask around.
also the st pauls carnival is a sound system free for all, so when that comes round there are loads of rigs out on the street. again, ask around.
good luck 😉
April 12, 2005 at 2:20 pm #1065017Depot is shut now, USE 😥
There have been two excellent parties just outside Bristol in the last couple months, both with no serious problems from OB

quality arena. that just made my day. bristol always seemed like it should be freepartycity, but i only found a handful in three years! and the ones i went were proper dogged by the fuzz. what with wales so close, i spose it is always easier to nip over the border (like that dirty beast near hay on wye, and a few other quality beach parties i made it to…
fingers crossed and hopefull face for brizzle freeparties!

I’ve been partying recently with a large bunch of people from Bristol and the surrounding areas – I think I was at at least one of them (in a big disused freezer/food warehouse?)
AFAIK the scene in that area was very vibrant at one point but (like Reading) was affected by aggressive police action, violence, vandalism, and internal politics between crews (which can be far more damaging long term than riot cops); but it has definitely picked up for the better recently

seems bizaar to me that crews would be getting at each other, talk about divide and conquer. i know on sj, various crews get slated for being geigh hardstyle etc, but i thought that was just good humoured pisstaking…
i spose if someone parties a site youve been keeping clean and troublefree and fucks it up, that would be rubbish, but with such a potent common enemy in brisstol, youd have thought the crews would unite.
nev mind, eh?
