they need this because they only have a two month mating season in early Spring/Summer, unlike other mammals such as humans, rodents, cats and dogs which can reproduce all year round and either in wild or captive (or developed) environments.

Apparently 31 cubs were born after showing these videos in Chinese zoos. Whilst I think it would be way better to make the zoo conditions better (which is why they don’t want to mate) and a bigger problem is the Chinese cut down the forest and dug great holes out of the mountains to build factories to make computers and the TV sets the pandas are watching their porn on (hence why the pandas got put in the zoos in the first place) that is a lot of cubs for a endangered species……

they only have one, and the times they can reproduce are limited by their biology, thats why there aren’t very many of them.

I’ve probably come close to being darted and taken to Colchester Zoo to be exhibited as an “Ah Beng” due to my habit of randomly meowing and caterwauling as well as playing trance at high volume, (Colchesters mayoress is from my Dad’s town in Malaysia!).

But rven if I was then married off to one of the numerous young and good looking Malaysian Chinese girls they send there to learn English (try saying “Colchester” in a chinese accent and you will understand why), there are reasons why I too would “show little interest in mating in captivity”

not least as the girls family would expect me to produce a baby as even at my age I am seen as useful breeding material : They feel “English born Chinese are better at dealing with bad weather, they inherit Britain’s proud maritime tradition and are resourceful and innovative provided they are kept busy and off the booze and drugs”. But this would involve being a respectable Dad in Penang or Kuala Lumpur. You are expected to look after kids, stay sober, and build your whole house there and you can’t tell your wife that there aren’t enough materials as corner shops sell the entire stock of Toolstation in the UK and have all sorts of random things in stock.

UKBA would eventually give me (and a family) a visa back to Blighty but only after we have all lived as a family for 5-10 years (as there is a shortage of school children in some parts of East Anglia due to young families moving out of the area – if it werent for migrants (whether they are foreign or from other bits of the UK) they would be closing these schools!) So I end up with a family being randomly shifted between countries at the whim of various authorities and even more of a identity crisis in spite of multiculturalism.

this is precisely what the Chinese and various other nations are doing with the pandas. So I can’t blame them for not wanting to breed.
