I can understand people like your parents and the old bill saying “you are too old for this” but I’ve heard it from ravers as well :surprised
I’ll be 36 this year, i know i have only been partying since Dec 04 but know so many of the young guys who always come get a hug from me, there is a group of them that say they know it’s gonna be a good party if i’m about and they hope they grow up to be like me, i don’t know whether it’s cause i have learnt to party without drugs or the fact i dance like a loon but i take it as a compliment anyway raaa :bounce_fl .
Party is good for me it makes me smile loads and keeps me fit.:weee:July 2, 2006 at 10:23 am #1078330sinner69Participant

yeah – I think a lot of people grow up too fast TBH (I know so many people who gave up raving in their mid 20s and just disappeared into normal suburban life)..
I’m only calming down these days because of time/work pressures and money situation but whatever happens I will always be there to support people who want to party or to do something better with their lives..July 2, 2006 at 11:25 am #1078331sinner69ParticipantGeneral Lighting wrote:yeah – I think a lot of people grow up too fast TBH (I know so many people who gave up raving in their mid 20s and just disappeared into normal suburban life)..

I used to party mad when I was younger and had no responsibilities, (mainly squat and ‘free’ events, not liking or being able to afford the more commercial clubs) and I knew those in the know of where and when etc,
Having moved a hundred odd miles away, and then back again after a few years my friends seemed to have ‘grown up’ and calmed right down and I sort of did with pub’s becoming more regular with occasional private or legal events here and there, but the spark that’s always been there has been rekindled and I plan to party on throughout my 30’s raaaand long into when I need a hip opp due to the terrible state of my dancing technique!
My friends dad who’s well into his 60’s (and recently had a kidney transplant) is a regular on the 40’s and 50’s dancing scene in london and a great inspiration to ‘us youngsters’ !!July 5, 2006 at 11:04 am #1078391Chemical BrotherParticipant
IM 18 AND A HALFISH, IM NOT 19 TILL MARCH 07, STILL A YOUNGUN IN MANY PEOPLES BOOKS, INTEND TO ATTENED AS MANY PARTAYS AS POSSIBLE BEFORE I SETTLE DOWN WHICH WONT BE FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 15 YEARS. IF I EVEN SETTLE DOWN AT ALL. THIS STYLE OF LIFE IS TO GUD JUST TO SWEEP UNDER THE CARPET ONE DAY JUST COZ YOUR MATES HAVE LOST INTEREST/FOUND A GIRL NOT INTO THE SCENE/MOVED AWAY.
