…by my own car.
Last night I parked up and got out of my car and bimbled over to my front door, then I suddenly realised that my car was rolling backwards toward me. ‘Oh fuck stop it’ I thought and scuttled over, ipod in hand, to the back of the car and tried to slow it down. ‘Bollox, the momentum is too much’. I threw the ipod to the ground and lunged at the driver’s door in an vain attempt to hop inside and control it only to be knocked to the ground. The car clipped another nearby motor and then bashed into a wall narrowly missing me and the ipod.
No damage done except a minor scrape on my front bumper, but I feel like such a :laugh_at: dick.

April 11, 2008 at 10:26 am #1160327I was pushing a motor to the petrol station once, and this geezer gave me a hand. He was at the back and I was through the drivers window steering. As we approcahed the petrol pumps, I thought “better get in so that I can use the brake, so it doesn’t crash”…
I opened the door, twisted my leg, and snapped it in two places (my leg, not the door).:yakk:
Laid up on the floor, I asked the geezer to call me an ambulance. Which he does, then shouts to me “they wanna know how you think you know your leg is broken?” I just laughed and said “tell em I’m a first aider and to believe me”. When the ambulance arrived the paramedic goes, “so what makes you think its broken?” then just touches it for a second and says :laugh_at: “oh yeah, you’re right”.
Such a funny night, coz then I rang my g/f and said “babe, I’m at a petrol station, I broke my leg, come see me in hospital”. She wouldn’t believe me cos I was so calm, until she heard the ambulance arrive while she was on the phone:you_crazy
