A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of abducting schoolgirl Shannon Matthews who was found alive 24 days after she disappeared.
The nine-year-old was discovered by police in the base of a divan bed at a flat in Batley Carr, about a mile from her home in Dewsbury.

i’m glad she was found alive .. not many “missings” ever get found .. especualy at an age so young as that … it’s fucked up enuff that people go missing in the first place .. let alone them never returning….:hopeless:

I can’t believe she was found! What with how old she was, and how hard it can be to trace missing cases. That’s fantastic news, especially for her family. I hope the sick bstard didn’t do anything to her, pretty dodge as to where she was found :s
